Your Right to Delete
You have the right to request deletion of your FashionKart account and associated personal data. This page explains what happens when you delete your account and how to submit a request.
What Gets Deleted
When your deletion request is processed, we permanently remove:
- Your account profile (name, email, phone, profile photo)
- Saved addresses and payment tokens
- Wishlist and browsing history
- AI personalisation data and recommendation profiles
- Marketing preferences and communication history
- Social login connections (Google, Facebook, Apple)
- Shopping cart contents
What May Be Retained
Certain data must be retained for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes:
- Order & transaction records: Retained for up to 7 years as required by Indian tax law
- Invoice data: Required for GST compliance
- Support ticket records: Retained for 3 years for dispute resolution
- Anonymised analytics: Aggregated, non-identifiable usage data may be retained
Retained data is stored securely and is not used for marketing or profiling.

How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Logged-in users
Go to Account Settings → Delete Account in the app or website, confirm your identity, and submit the deletion request.
Option 2: Public request form
If you cannot log in, use the form below on this page to submit a deletion request with your registered email address.
Option 3: Email
Send an email to hello@fashionkart.ai with subject "Account Deletion Request" including your registered email and phone number.
Before You Delete
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Any pending orders must be completed or cancelled first. Wallet balance (if any) should be used or withdrawn before deletion. You will lose access to order history and purchase records in your account (though we retain records as required by law).
Third-Party Data
Deletion of your FashionKart account does not delete data held by third parties (payment processors, social login providers). Contact those services separately if needed.
